| CRIMT'S SSHRC-MCRI FULL TEAM MEETINGS | |||||
The CRIMT SSHRC-MCRI project meetings ( 2003-2007 and 2008-2015 grants) provide an opportunity for co-researchers and doctoral students to take note of the results generated by the various subprojects that make up the overall research program, whilst at the same time developing a better understanding of the links that unite its different parts. They also allow for an exchange on the issues relating to interdisciplinary and comparative research and an opportunity to plan the development of transfer and scientific activities. The program of these meetings (known as 'Magog Meetings', from the name of the town where they take place) fall into four types of activities: 1) plenary sessions that showcase the results obtained for specific subprojects or seek to capture theoretical and methodological advances linked to the objectives of the overall project; 2) workshops to promote exchanges between specific subprojects; 3) subproject meetings aimed at sharing research results and planning scientific activities and deliverables; 4) informal meetings that encourage new scientific collaboration. |
