The Interuniversity Research Centre on Globalization and Work (CRIMT) is recognized as a Centre en fonctionnement by the Fonds de recherche du Québec - Société et culture (FQRSC – Regroupements stratégiques program – grant 2011-2017). The overall project is financed by the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada (SSHRC – Major Collaborative Research Initiatives program – grant 2008-2015). In both cases, there is a new grant that follows on from a first: in 2003, CRIMT was recognized as a Centre en émergence by the FQRSC (Regroupements stratégiques program – grant 2003-2011) and in 2008, its co-researchers completed a first mandate under the Major Collaborative Research Initiatives program (SSHRC – grant 2003-2008).
In addition to these two major grants, CRIMT receives important financial and material support from its three partner universities (University of Montreal, Université Laval, HEC Montréal). It also receives ad hoc support from social partners, particularly relating to the organization of international conferences and seminars.
