Accommodation

To help you plan your stay in Montreal, please note that the conference will begin at 8:45 am on Thursday, May 24th 2007, and will end at 4:30 pm on Saturday, May 26th. We suggest that you plan your trip as soon as possible in order to take advantage of the best deals.

The conference will be held on the premises of HEC Montréal, which is situated on Montreal’s Island, in the Côte-des-neiges/Outremont area, North-west of Mount Royal. There are very few accommodation options in this area and many people will choose to stay in Downtown Montreal (between 20 and 30 minutes from the site of the colloquium by taxi or public transportation – for more information, consult the Conference Venue section, as well as the Downtown map). For those who would prefer to stay closer to the site of the conference (less than 5 minutes walk), the Université de Montréal’s residences (see
Option 4 below) are an economic lodging choice.

Important : The negotiated conference rates for the first three hotels (Options 1, 2 and 3) will be offered until May 1st, 2007 and won’t be applicable to reservations made after this date. To beneficiate from these rates, you must specify that you are part of the CRIMT Conference 2007 group.
